Robin Weber Pollak
President, Journeys International
Since age four I have explored the world on Journeys adventures, traveling with my parents—the founders of Journeys—and my brother Noah. Our most epic journey: seven months on the road in Asia and the Pacific when I was 16. After college, I spent five years working in experiential education, until I realized that the greatest way to pursue my passion for crafting impactful experiences lay in our exhilarating family business. Traveling with my parents opened my eyes to the power of travel to help people find their place in the world. I can't wait to share this with my own son.
Chris "Chez" Chesak
Executive Director, Family Travel Association
My wanderlust started young, as a kid traveling the country in my dad's Volkswagon Campervan. Since then, I've been fortunate to travel the world, previously as Executive Director of the Adventure Travel Trade Association and now with Family Travel Association, a coalition of family-focused resorts, destinations, media and others—all united to help inspire families to travel more. For all my global adventures, the most rewarding—by far—have been those that I was able to share with my two daughters: standing on the Great Wall of China, ziplining through the canopy in Costa Rica, or exploring the cenotes of Mexico.
